Chiropractic assessment of health condition
The human frame (especially the spine) is what the chiropractor will examine to determine the possible cause of your condition. The bones, muscles, and nerves of the body must work together. Often times, the very reason why a person experiences pain is because the bones, muscles, and nerves are not working together. Chiropractic is very effective at treating conditions that relate to dysfunction of the human frame. Everyone could use a spinal examination. Complete orthopedic and neurological exams are performed on every one of our patients.

Radiographic Examination
We have an on-site x-ray facility which allows us to see the bones of your spine(vertebrae) and its alignment. Sometimes the cause of your pain can be a fracture, therefore the use of an x-ray will enable the doctor to accurately diagnose the condition.

Chiropractic Adjustments
The doctor takes a gentle contact and applies a specific force (thrust) into areas of joint restrictions, mostly along the spine. Adjustments help with joint pain and also have an effect on tight muscles. Dysfunction in your spine can have a great effect on your health and general well being.

Rehabilitation
Spinal exercises and strengthening are important for maintaining your spine between adjustments. Many muscles of the body develop imbalances from the activities of daily living, like sitting at a computer all day. The muscles of the body are like computers, they both have a memory. Rehabilitation will help reset the memory of the muscle and also strengthen the joints of the body.

Decompression (DTS-Decompression Traction System)
DTS is a non-surgical treatment to help in the management of serious low back/leg or neck/arm pain.

DTS treatment is directed at relieving pressure on structures that may be a major source of pain. It can relieve the pain associated with bulging and herniated discs, degenerative discs, facet syndrome, sciatica and headaches.
Graston Technique
The Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The Technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Surface Electromyography (sEMG)
sEMG is a device which measures the amount of electrical activity your muscles release when they are contracting, more commonly known as muscle tension. It is similar in function to an EKG which measures heart muscle activity.
Orthotics
Oh, my aching feet! There are 26 bones in the foot. Sometimes something as simple as a customized insert for your shoe can help.

Nutritional analysis
You are what you eat. Ask the doctor to talk to you about your diet and how it can provide life to years and perhaps years to life.

Physiotherapy (Modalities)

Cryotherapy
This procedure will restrict blood flow, numb painful areas, and help ease muscle soreness.

Moist Heat
When muscles are tight more blood is needed to help heal the area of involvement. Moist heat is very effective. When muscle tissue relaxes, joint function often improves.

Interferential Electro-Therapy
Small waves of electrical impulses work their way to the deep tissues of the body. This helps with the release of endorphins and other natural painkillers that are present in the body.

Ultrasound
Therapeutic ultrasound will help promote the healing of the soft tissue, for example the soft tissue injury of tennis elbow.

Intersegmental Traction
A table that puts passive waves of motion into the spine to help maintain the motion the adjustment provides.

Myofascial Release/Massage
Muscles must work to make you move and also support the head that rest on your shoulders. Just like a car, the muscles have an exhaust. Sometimes the tail pipe gets stopped up from the by-products of metabolism. That must be worked out to ensure proper muscle function.
